Summer Sounds @ SevenWe're having a heatwave - it's official! With mature trees and shaded places Seven is the perfect place to relax with a cool beer or cocktail. And of course we've plenty of events to enjoy too, starting tonight, featuring twenty+ of Leeds’ most enthusiastic musicians and the inspirational leadership and multi-instrumental talents of Richard Ormrod on Thursday 25th June, 7.30pm is the Instant World Orchestra playing music from every continent and era. Doors 7pm.On Friday 26th June, 7-11pm, look forward to Steppin’ In 2 Tomorrow, a night of deep and soulful selections from across the universe taking in soul, disco, boogie, lovers rock and beyond. Seven Bar. Free entry – everyone is welcome on the dance floor.Look forward to Summer Saturdays – Sweet Sorrows on Saturday 27th June, 4 – 6pm. With Celtic charm and edge, together with soft harmonies the duo creates an Americana/Celtic/Roots fusion. Based in Co. Wexford, Ireland, The Sweet Sorrows are veteran Irish singer-songwriter Sammy Horner and his Australian wife Kylie. Seven Courtyard or Bar. Pay What You Feel. Organised by MEWL Music.Also on Saturday 27th June, 8.30pm, The Soul Surgeons. Formed 20 years ago, this nine piece dance band serves up a blend of soul and blues, joyous enough to stir any willing dancers onto their feet. Think soul, blues, motown classics with a side-garnish of Van Morrison, Etta James, Tom Jones and Amy Whitehouse. Seven Venue. £15. Doors 8pm.. And, no need to slope off to a sport's bar to watch the World Cup on Saturday 27th June. See England v Panama World Cup football match at 10pm in Seven Bar.
