Creative Kirklees
Latest Events, News and Opportunities

Wednesday, April 15th

As spring settles in, it’s a great time to reconnect with creativity across Kirklees. This week’s Creative Kirklees and Music in Kirklees listings are packed with things to enjoy right now and over the coming days, whether that’s getting involved in a hands-on workshop, catching live music, or discovering something new in a local venue.

There’s plenty coming up, including a range of upcoming &Piano events blending live music with friendly, welcoming spaces for audiences of all ages. From intimate performances to family‑friendly sessions, they’re a brilliant way to experience music locally while supporting independent venues across the area.

Looking ahead, excitement is also building for the Huddersfield Literature Festival, which returns soon with a rich programme celebrating storytelling, ideas and the written word. With author talks, performances and creative conversations on the horizon, it’s an ideal moment to start planning what to see and take part in.
