Pictureville Cinema

📽️What's On: 2 – 8 January

Welcome to your weekly cinema listings.

We hope you're having a restful December packed full of fun film, and as we head into the new year, there's plenty more to come.

From the manic Marty Supreme to the awe-inspiring Avatar: Fire and Ash, there's something for everyone across our three screens but first we wanted to provide a quick update on our ticketing.

From 1 January ticket prices will be changing for our Pictureville and Cubby Broccoli screens.

We've worked hard to ensure that prices remained the same since our reopening but due to the rising costs of the last few years we’ve made the decision to raise certain ticket prices.

Though some ticket prices will rise by 50p, the price of memberships and tickets for our IMAX, Kids' Club and CineMini screenings will remain the same.

This change will ensure we can continue to programme the best of independent film in 2026 and beyond, while work continues on an improved accessible offer to ensure that our cinema remains open for all.

Tales from Our Trips

Hi,

There’s a reason why so many of our travellers choose to join us on an adventure to Ireland.

For one, our trips are shaped by people who live and work here. Our guides are deeply knowledgeable about the histories, habitats and communities that characterise Ireland and take joy in revealing them to those who travel here. Similarly, our team of trip designers, with their own individual passions and extensive local insight, craft adventures where every detail is chosen with purpose and care.

Another reason is our reviews, generously given by people like you.

Seeing as it’s difficult to try an adventure on for size, the next best thing is to hear from people who have done it before.

With over a 1,000 independent traveller reviews and an average trip rating of 4.93 out of 5, our feedback speaks for itself. And just because the ratings are high, it doesn’t mean we stop listening — every comment is considered, so we can continue to make our trips even better.

So, for a true sense of what exploring with us feels like, why not check out our latest reviews? After all, often our clients say it best.

Best trip ever- and I have done lots of bike trips. The trip was well organized , great routes and lovely food and accommodations. The guides Pearse and Declan made the trip. They are authentic, have a wealth of local knowledge and clearly both love what they do. My daughter and I had the loveliest time and I will be back!! I know what Hurling is, can "split the G" and know so much more about the history and culture of Ireland. You have something really special going on. Thank you so much and can't wait to do Kerry!!

What’s Waiting for You in 2026?

Hi,

A new year has arrived, bringing with it a fresh chapter full of possibilities.

At this time, many of us like to set resolutions or intentions for the months ahead. These can be small, such as reading more books or trying out new recipes. They can also be more ambitious, like learning a new language or writing a novel.

If your goals include exploring more, spending more time in nature, or meeting like-minded people, why not start 2026 by booking a trip that brings together all three?

Exploring Ireland could mean hiking through wild, limestone landscapes or cycling along quiet coastal roads with views of dramatic cliffs and sandy bays. It might mean discovering ancient castles, watching seabirds swoop or listening to traditional music by flickering firelight.

Whether you wish to hike, cycle or enjoy a more relaxed cultural trip, an adventure in Ireland promises to make 2026 a year to remember.
