life of Liz Brice, who campaigned to legalise the use of cannabis in
the treatment of MS, clinical oncologist Professor Susan Short talks on
medicinal treatments which contain active ingredients derived from

7.30pm, JazzLeeds – Matt Carmichael
Quintet. Rising star in the Scottish jazz scene, Carmichael
is one of its leading voices. He draws inspiration from the dramatic
moods and expansiveness of Scotland’s coastal imagery and his jazz
background brings a unique focus on the country’s folk tradition. £18/16. 25s and under £9

Flamenco de Leeds presents
One Night in Indialucia on Friday 19th April. This innovative
concert brings together Indian Classical music with Flamenco and layers
the two disciplines together, not about fusion, but standing together
for something altogether different.

April, 4-6pm, Spring Sessions – Sabrina
Piggott & Bob Lockwood. The Duo will be casting a spell
with Sabrina's wistful and expertly crafted music. Pay What You Feel. Organised by

A first for seven, on Sunday 21st April, 6pm, Karol Modzelewski in
LEEDS!, Look forward to this Polish stand-up comedy show for
Polish speakers in our city! With completely new material, we bring you
the creator of the YouTube show: “News without a virus” Karol
Modzelewski! Doors

No Quiz this week, to make space for the vodka shots, but the Sunday Quiz
returns Sunday 28th
April, 7pm. Test your knowledge in a relaxed atmosphere – a

Jo will be performing songs that touch on the idea of nature and the
trials and tribulations of the heart, taken from her catalogue of
albums Weathering The Storm.
