Freedom Studios invites you to our work-in-progress
readings of new writing created by participants from our Writers Studio Group.
Over two evenings on Saturday the 20th and Saturday the of 27th
April we will be presenting 10-minute short plays and 10-minute
extracts from larger works that will be read by professional
actors. This is a brilliant opportunity to see some fantastic new
writing being created in our region, but also give your feedback
to writers and be part of the development of these stories.

Our Writer’s Studio Group was a cohort of 25 writers
from Bradford who met over 10 sessions from November 2023 to
February 2024 to develop their playwriting skills and meet
industry professionals. This opportunity was part of our Bradford
Voices project.
This is a pay-what-you-feel event. This means there
is no obligation to pay for a ticket. We appreciate we are living
in difficult times but if you are able to contribute this will
help Freedom Studios to continue to support writers in the
future.
