on offer. Today, Wednesday
22nd November 8pm, Cafe Scientifique – The
Carbon Budget: Spending Beyond Our Means? Dr Smith will talk
about the carbon budget, what it is, how it is calculated, and what the
implications are ahead of the forthcoming global COP28 climate summit. Hat Donations.
Tomorrow, Thursday
23rd and Friday 24th November, 7.30pm, The Ragged Trousered
Philanthropists. Neil Gore presents a one-person version of
the classic novel by Robert Tressell featuring projection, political
conjuring tricks, live music and song. Meet the famous characters and
enjoy the scenes, speeches and songs, featuring the Great Money Trick as
its centrepiece. Truly captivating. £10.
On Saturday 25th
November 4-6pm Autumn Sessions –
Brotherhood of Troubadours, the band features an
ever-changing line up of established singer-songwriters presenting
their songs and stories. Seven

On the same day, South Asian Arts UK – One
Dha at a time : Dancing towards new light. Saturday 25th November, 8pm. In
the radiant month of Diwali, a celebration of Light over Darkness and
the pursuit of Knowledge over Ignorance, four classically trained
dancers embark on a journey to seek the essence of their dance. Advance tickets : £15 Standard,
£7 Concession, £5 Under 30s.
On Sunday 26th
November 7pm, this and every Sunday, the Seven Quiz .
Test your knowledge in a relaxed atmosphere – a great way to end the
weekend with friends and family.

presents headliner Brennan Reece, crowned English Comedian Of The Year

Rounding off the month on Thursday
30th November, 7pm, JazzLeeds – Alina
Bzhezhinska’s HipHarp Collective featuring Tony Kofi.
Originally from Ukraine/Poland, Alina Bzhezhinska is an internationally
renowned harpist. Her duo, with award-winning jazz vocalist Niki King,
has supported Gregory Porter. Having ‘cut his teeth’ in the “Jazz
Warriors” of the early 90’s, award-winning saxophonist Tony Kofi has
gone on to establish himself as a musician, teacher and composer Doors 7pm, Support band.
