Cheer @ Seven
It's sometimes hard to be optimistic when November sets in, with dark
nights and wet days, but Seven's programme over the next few weeks is
aimed to bring cheer, and not forgetting our warm and wlelcoming cafe
/bar.
A bumper day tomorrow, Wednesday
1st November, starting at 11.30am, with one for the kiddies, Anything Could Happen. All
we need are your ideas as we bring your make believe to life with
hilarious results. Improvised storytelling where literally anything
could happen. £4
Later at 7.15pm, also on Wednesday
1st November it is Rush Hour Jazz – Raquel
Alvaro. Portuguese jazz singer, Raquel Alvaro has recently
completed her degree at Leeds Conservatoire and appears here with Will
Powell on guitar. Seven
Bar. Pay What You Feel.
And, at 7.30pm,
the monthly outing of, Murder Inc. a
comedy murder mystery that is made to order. The show is a wholly
improvised crime story, where the cast take your suggestions and weave
a sordid tale for you that is pacy and packed with belly laughs. £10.
On Thursday 2nd
November, 8pm, look forward to The Big Easy.
The band's repertoire is from the early days of swing, classic New
Orleans jazz and lively jump-jive. It brings dynamic, energetic and
virtuosic playing, interspersed with moments of soulful-melancholy that
will make this a night to remember. £12.
Our Autumn Sessions
continue with Mestisa Duo on Saturday 4th November 4-6pm
with original and traditional songs of South America from Ana Luisa
& Barbara. Expect beautiful blended harmonies, passionate
performance, rhythmical guitars and a journey across North, Central and

November, Alba – Film Premiere.Two
old friends rekindle a once unrequited love. In the course of one rare,
intimate and magical night, a life entire is remembered and lived. The
latest feature film by the underground filmmaker Daniel J Sayer. Free drink at 7pm. Film starts
at 8pm. Flexible ticket price. £
On Sunday 5th
November, 1.30-4pm, JazzLeeds – Aadal
Aadal unites the talents of guitarist Michael Aadal sax player André
Kassen bassist Audun Ramo and drummer Gunnar Sæter with a unique
amalgam of typical Scandinavian melancholy and more Americana inspired
soundscapes. Wow! Doors
1pm. £12/10 concessions. Under 16s free.
