Mistakes @ Seven

January, 2-4pm, Devika Dance Theatre –
Naandi : A New beginning. Internationally renowned performer
and stage@leeds associate artist, Devika Rao, brings a brand new dance
theatre performance, followed by an interactive workshop and talk with
creative specialists. Free

On Saturday 21st
January, 4-6pm, the first of a series of Saturday afternoon
gigs to warm up these cold winter afternoons. Kicking off with Little Mistakes,
an acoustic trio playing country, folk and bluegrass originals and

Also, on Saturday 21st
January, 7.30pm, Barber B – A Play of Sorts.
Join Barber B as he recounts tales of how he began his journey into
barbering. Set against the cultural backdrop of ’80s and ’90s
Chapeltown, Leeds, Barber B moves through the characters, opportunities
and obstacles which defined his career. £10.
JazzLeeds – Mike Hall’s
‘Boplicity’ Octet plays on Sunday 22nd January, 1.30-4pm. Band
leader, Mike Hall has miniaturised some of his favourite big band
pieces into a set of unique pieces for jazz octet. Look forward to a
wide ranging and entertaining afternoon of popular jazz music. £12 / £10.
Also on Sunday 22nd
January 7pm, the ever-popular Seven Quiz, a
great way to stretch those little grey cells and round off the weekend
with friends and family. £5.
If you're peckish feel free to order a pizza from Canteen Pizzas and
it can be zipped across the road. Pizzas are available Wed – Fri from 3pm and
from lunchtime Sat.
