Up To Christmas @ Seven
Some great events to look forward to in the build up to Chritmas at
Seven, starting this coming Saturday, 11th December, 7.30pm, with Land Of Nod. Now
in the tenth year, the much-loved Land of Nod is a hilarious comedy
sketch show that makes you question the meaning of… pretty much
everything. £10
On Sunday 12th
December 1.30-4pm, great live jazz from JazzLeeds - Rafe's Dilemma,
celebrating new collaborations with local playrights, Nel Begley on
vocals, Jamil Sheriff keyboards, Pete Turner bass, and Katie Patterson
drums. Doors 1.15pm.
Tickets £10 full / £8 conc.
Also on Sunday 5th
December, 7pm, test your knowledge with friends and family
in a relaxed environment
at the Seven Quiz . £5 per team.
In a Christmas special, look forward to Seven Live – Excel and the
Macros, Wednesday
15th December, 6-7.30pm. Mark Byrne, Adam Wolstenhome, Tom
Brown and Scott Wolstenholme play Eddie Cochrane, Little Richard, Billy
Fury, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Elvis and more. PWYF
On Thursday 16th
December, 7.30pm, just a few tickets left for JazzLeeds – Jeremy Sassoon
sings and plays the Ray Charles Songbook. This tribute to
the music of Ray Charles captures the imagination of jazz, blues and
soul audiences alike.
£16 full / £14 conc. Under 25s £8.
Great live music from Tim & Simon
on Friday 17th
December, 7.30pm. Simon and Tim are two affable middle-aged
music-lovers who currently have nothing better to do than devise
inoffensive arrangements of their favourite classic songs for piano,
guitar and two passable voices.
Tongue in cheek this - they're great. PWYF.
On Saturday 18th
December 7.30pm, a very welcome return for Arts At The Arms,
following a sellout show in September. Arts at the Arms brings
their trademark mix of theatre, comedy, poetry and music from local
creatives showcasing original work.
£10.
And in Christmas week, two dazzling jazz events, JazzLeeds Christmas Party
on Sunday 19th
December and Rush Hour Christmas Special
on Thursday 23rd
December plus a special showing of the 2020 movie version
of A Christmas Carol on Wednesday 22nd December, 7.30pm.
Also, throughout
December, Seven has teamed up with Canteen, Wednesday- Sunday, so
your favourite pizzas can be ordered at Seven and zipped across the
road.
