Festive Fun @ Seven


It's Festive Fun all the way until Christmas, so fingers crossed for no last minute lock downs! Tonight, Wednesday 15th December, 6-7.15pm we've the fantastic Seven Live -  Excel and the Macros playing Eddie Cochrane, Little Richard, Billy Fury, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Elvis and more. Plus their own rocking original songs. Seven's Venue PWYF.

Tomorrow, Thursday 16th December, 7.30pm, just a few tickets on the door for JazzLeeds – Jeremy Sassoon  singing and playing the Ray Charles songbook. His tribute captures the imagination of Jazz, Blues and Soul audiences alike. Tickets £16 full / £14 conc. Under 25s £8.

Great live music from Tim & Simon on Friday 17th December, 7.30pm. Simon and Tim are two affable middle-aged music-lovers who devise inoffensive arrangements of their favourite classic songs for piano, guitar and two passable voices. Tongue in cheek - they're great. PWYF.

On Saturday 18th December 7.30pm, a very welcome return for Arts At The Arms, following a sellout show in September.  Arts at the Arms brings their trademark mix of theatre, comedy, poetry and music from local creatives showcasing original work. £10.

It's the JazzLeeds Christmas Party with New York Brass Band and Nicki Allan Quintet on Sunday 19th December for an extended session 1-5pm. Come and enjoy a seasonal double header with two dazzling bands! Just a few tickets on the door. £15 full /13 concessions/7.50 25 and under.

And the final Seven Quiz of the year on Sunday 19th December, 7pm. Test your knowledge with friends and family in a relaxed environment and with a musical theme this week £5 per team.

And in Christmas week, on Wednesday 22nd December 7pm, a special showing of the 2020 movie version of A Christmas Carol. This classic starts with a Victorian performance of the Charles Dickens tale before diving into the imagination of one of the children in the audience. Featuring many famous voices, including Simon Russell Beale, Martin Freeman, Carey Mulligan and Andy Serkis. £6

Finally, Rush Hour Jazz – Special Christmas Session on Thursday 23rd December, 6-7.30pm  Come and listen to some music – festive or otherwise with Jazz Leeds own pianist Ben Gilbert and vocalist Oliver Bolton. £6.

And, don't forget, Seven has teamed up with Canteen, Wednesday- Sunday, so your favourite pizzas can be ordered at Seven and zipped across the road.
