Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival, 13 September

The ninth Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival starts tomorrow, details of five days of events can be found below:

All ready to go for the 2017 Festival On Your Marks .. !   9th Festival begins tomorrow, 13th September   Join us for five days of award-winners, bestsellers, celebrities, lively debate and fabulous fiction. Several events have sold out already but don’t despair. Check the website for events with tickets available.     Please note two changes to our programme: BBC North America Editor Jon Sopel will be talking about his book If Only They Didn’t Speak English replacing Rev Richard Coles, who has been called away for filming. The multi-award-winning children's author Geraldine McCaughrean has stepped in to talk about her latest book Where the World Ends to replace Michael Morpurgo who has had to withdraw due to illness. If you have tickets for either of these events and are happy to come along anyway, your tickets will be honoured. If you would like a refund or to transfer to another event, please call the Box Office on 01395 445275 as soon as possible.   Keeping you fed and watered Coffees, teas and light lunches will be available all day, plus you can buy signed copies of our authors’ books.
