We're thrilled
to announce that we're changing our name to the National Science and
Media Museum, reflecting our status as part of the Science Museum Group
and our focus on the science and culture of light and sound technologies.
Our new gallery, Wonderlab, an interactive experience filled with live
experiments, thrilling shows and more than 20 mind-bending exhibits is
opening on 25 March. Entry is free but we recommend you book tickets now
to avoid disappointment.
Last but by no means least, from September the Soyuz TMA-19M spacecraft
that took Tim Peake to the International Space Station will be on display
in the Museum for three months – see it for the first time outside
London!
