The latest news and events from Creative Scene...           January 2017 is sounding better already as we are back for a second evening of local writers performing their work.      Whether spoken word, verse or rhyme make you sit up and listen or sit down and scribble, we invite you to take the stage and share your stories or simply sit back and soak in the world of words on offer.   Join us in celebrating our love for language in our distinctive local styles at the open mic.    Where: Sensory World             Old Westgate        Dewsbury          WF13 1NB            When: Friday 20th Jan 2017                  7:00pm – 9:30pm     A free event and refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP to confirm your attendance.
