Upcoming writing competitions for April 2016

Thanks to my writer friend and fellow Cleckheaton Writers Group member Sarah, please find below links to upcoming creative writing competitions for April:

If it's raining where you are as much as it is here, then use the time stuck indoors to write a flash fiction and you could win a place at the Short Story Retreat in June with Paul McVeigh.

All the info is here but essentially you just need to write a 500 word story from the prompt, send it in by the deadline and you're in with a chance!

Get some advice on writing great flashes from David Gaffney to up your chances of winning that place at the retreat, which is taking place in an amazing spot right on Chesil Beach.

Happy writing,
Amanda x

PS. Don't forget the monthly themed flash deadline is just a few days away too and you could win cash and get published on the website.
