A guy loves a girl; it’s lockdown, so he invents a simple game to keep her amused. Said game is designed not to be addictive, not to nudge you with notifications nor spam you with ads, unlike pretty much every other online game. Wordle is then bought for an undisclosed seven-figure sum by the New York Times. Who’d have thought you could have love as a business model?
