It is never too late to start living more mindfully and our planet needs this change right now more than ever according to NY Times columnist Charles M. Blow. 😘🌍

It's Never Too Late

Imagine consuming and utilizing all of the food you purchased. Actually, imagine growing your food or raising it on your own land. How much would you reduce your carbon footprint if you'd just carry a reusable shopping tote?
All over the U.S, people are wasting food and investing in services, businesses, and luxuries that threaten our skies, green spaces, wildlife, and waterways. Still, 49-year-old Charles M. Blow is proof that devoting yourself to the journey of a green life right now is attainable for all of us.

NYC's Hidden Getaway

Thanks to a green light from Manhattan's council members, Snohetta is going ahead with plans to revitalize the green space at 550 Madison. Architects, plant experts, and other design professionals are teaming up to create a tangible NYC oasis.
The current vision includes lush green life, flora, and an unbelievable waterfall. There is more information about the project on their website if you're as intrigued as we are.

Harnessing Our Sun

Although costly, the benefit of green architecture far outweighs the bill. The new Local laws 92 and 94 are now in effect, calling for solar paneling or green roof systems.
The new push lines construction projects up with greener cities and smaller carbon footprints as a whole. The lawmakers hope the vote will increase the use of renewable energy and help us leave toxic fuels in the past.
