Leeds Big Bookend book launch, Friday 27 May, Waterstones

This Friday at Waterstones Leeds, sees the book launch of The Nemesis Charm by local author Daniel Ingram-Brown:

Local Author, Daniel Ingram-Brown, Launches the Big Bookend Festival and Closes the Northern Short Story Festival  www.bigbookend.co.uk Book Launch, The Nemesis Charm, by Daniel Ingram-Brown, Friday 27th May at Waterstones, Leeds We are delighted to open this year's Leeds Big Bookend Festival with the launch of local author and theatre producer, Daniel Ingram-Brown's second book, The Nemesis Charm, for children aged 8-13, Come along to  Waterstones, Leeds on Friday May 27th from 7pm -9pm for an evening of readings, conversation and live music. Daniel will be in conversation with producer and theatre director Dick Bonham, of Little Mighty. The launch of the Nemesis Charm follows the success of the first book in the series, Rise of the Shadow Stealers, praised as, a “rollicking adventure.”  It is apt that the book launches in Leeds as much of it was written in the city and one of Leeds’ best known landmarks, Kirkstall Abbey features in the book. To book your tickets and read more, click here.   Book Launch, Stories from the Forests of Leeds, Saturday 4th June, Carriageworks Theatre, Leeds   Daniel Ingram-Brown has been working with the Leeds Big Bookend Festival, the Leeds Church Institute, local writers and illustrator Simon Smith, to imagine Leeds as a forest, writing and illustrating short stories that reflect a complex, diverse place with no wide landscape, where roads thread between buildings, connecting people and communities. These Stories from the Forests of Leeds will be launched  at, and close the first ever Northern Short Story Festival on Saturday 4th June, 5.45pm at the Carriageworks Theatre. Tickets cost £4.00.
