Here is the latest Creative Kirklees newsletter for my followers to peruse:

Creative Kirklees Newsletter 14 October 2015

The evenings might be drawing in but there’s still plenty going on in Kirklees to entice you out of the house ……. music, theatre, exhibitions, concerts, classes and workshops. Once you’ve decided what to do why not share this newsletter with a friend and invite them to join you?

Or if you want to put on your own event then make sure you join artists and venues and register your event for Huddersfield Hat. To be included in the publicity you need to register your event NOW!  If you’re an artist why not contact a venue and see if they want to put on an event with you – it could be a coffee shop, a gallery or any space in Huddersfield? If you’re a venue search the Creative Kirklees’ directory and find artists to do something creative in your space. If you’re already putting on an event that weekend join with the Huddersfield Hat branding and take advantage of the joint publicity. Register your event here
Do you know any adults with a learning disability who would be interested in taking part in a new theatre skills course? Dark Horse Theatre still has a few places available on their latest course which aims to develop skills in voice, movement and acting techniques. See their news item to find out more.
Don’t forget to share your news, events and opportunities on Creative Kirklees and we’ll help spread the word by sharing on the Creative Kirklees Facebook page and Twitter.
