Christmas from Seven
From all of us at
Seven, we wish all our customers a Very Happy Christmas.
If you're looking for some fun diversions between Christmas and New Year,
look no further than your local Seven Arts. On Sunday 28 December,
2-3pm, Funny Stuff for Happy People presents Hobo Deluxe in
"Happiness Through Stupidity" It's an hour
long show suitable for all the family, with great comedy, catchy music,
stupid (but accurate) science, incredible circus, a bit of magic and a
massive beard. Doors at 1.45pm, tickets £6 each.
Also on Sunday at 8pm, come and join us in our final Sunday Quiz of the
year, hosted by stalwart quizmaster Roger Hunter. It’s free as
always, with prizes (and bragging rights) to be won! Free with
voluntary £1 raffle. 8pm in the bar, come early to get a table!
On Monday 29 December, at 8pm in the bar is the ever-popular Acoustic
Open Mic Night. Come and join in the jam session or just soak up the
atmosphere.
On Tuesday 30 December, 8.30pm, Seven Jazz presents The
Great Escape open mic jazz and blues session. Get away
from the turkey and the presents and bring your instrument or brush up
those vocals and wow us with your talent. There will be a first-class
rhythm section there to support you and listeners are very welcome
too!” £7 /£5 conc. Doors 8pm.
One of the highlights of the Seven year is the New Year's Eve Party.This
year the theme is ‘Movie Stars’… the best outfit wins a prize! Party your
socks off at Seven this NYE and see out 2014! Starts 8pm and open till
3am! Free entry all night. Numbers restricted so be early to secure entry.
