Solomon @ SevenLots of great events coming up over the next couple of weeks, including some excellent theatre. Look out for Solomon on Friday 16th May, 7.30pm. Solomon tells the story of Simeon Solomon, a Queer Jewish Pre-Raphaelite painter and delves into Solomon’s journey of self-discovery, set against the backdrop of a Victorian world characterised by harsh judgment. Seven Venue. £11.And on Saturday 10th May, 7.30pm, The Boys are Back in t’ Tarn. Thirty years after an acrimonious split, Leeds based rockers, Lucifer’s Love Child are back, returning to the scene of their first ever gig, accompanied by long-time manager Rupert, and Thomas, the mysterious new sound engineer. Seven Venue. £10.This week kicks off tomorrow, Wednesday 7th May, 6-7.15pm with Rush Hour Jazz – Brendan Duffy. Brendan is one of Leeds’s favourite tenor sax players, tonight playing with the JazzLeeds trio with Andy Cholerton on keyboards, Steve Crocker on bass and Miles Hardy on drums. Pay What You Feel. Seven Bar. Organised by JazzLeeds.Also tomorrow, Wednesday 7th May, 7.30pm, Murder Inc. – National Dismembership takes full advantage of their memberships and hits the National Trust. Come join us for a walk around the gardens of a stately home. It’ll be a great day out to hear the birds chirping, watch a murder and crack a case. Murder Inc is the fully improvised comedy murder mystery that you help create and solve.... Seven Venue. £10.On Friday 9th May 7.30pm, look forward to An Evening with Roundhay Ukulele Group, the concert featuring the top twenty favourite songs covered by Roundhay Ukulele Group, as voted for by its members. Seven Venue. £10.Spring Sessions – Little Mistakes , returns on Saturday 10th May, 4-6pm. Little Mistakes are firm favourites, this local Americana trio playing original songs and covers. Seven Bar. Pay What You Feel.On Sunday 11th May 7.30pm, the Seven Quiz is a great way to end the weekend with family and friends and test your knowledge in a relaxed atmosphere. Seven Bar. £5 per team entry.
