We Need To Talk About Brenda @ Seven

The Spring Sessions offering on Saturday 26th April, 4-6pm is Ric Neale, a musician and performer whose shows spotlight his expert songwriting. He has taken his theatrical, heartfelt and often hilarious performances of his brand of piano songsmithery all over the country. Pay What You Feel. Seven Bar. Organised by MEWL Music.

Later, also on Saturday 26th April, 7.30pm A Treachery of Images is a new solo double bill by critically acclaimed dance theatre maker John-William Watson. This duo of works, heavily inspired by Watson’s love of silent film, physical comedy and absurdist humour, is a journey through the life of two surreal characters and their relationships with (seemingly) inanimate objects. Seven Venue. £15 / £10 conc.

On Sunday 27th April 7.30pm, the Seven Quiz is always a great way to end the weekend with friends and test your knowledge in a relaxed atmosphere. Seven Bar. £5 per team entry. With prizes.

Rounding off the month on Wednesday 30th April, 7.30pm is Silky & Friends, with headliner Al Stevenson, sharp-witted lad from Newcastle, with “bulletproof confidence”  plus Maxine Wade, who, with blue hair and head-to-toe leopard print, cuts a distinctive figure. With special guests, and Silky as host. Seven Venue. £15 / £12.

And, finally on Thursday 1st May, 7.30pm, based on a true story, We Need To Talk About Brenda. This one woman show by Brenda Productions, is a brilliant, funny, tart black comedy which highlights the struggles of many women in today’s society. Seven Venue. £13.

Where the event is ticketed, tickets are available at TicketSource via www.sevenleeds.co.uk  We  look forward to seeing you at Seven very soon. Every £ spent at Seven helps support high quality arts in a local setting.
