Soho Theatre are on the hunt for the next winner of the
Verity Bargate Award. This biennial, national award seeks inspiring
new writing talent. Join us for an informal session led by Soho's
Associate Director Charlotte Bennett.

is a Theatre Director?
Mon 10 April, 7pm - 9pm
Join us for this workshop where we will talk about
a director's responsibilities, their relationships with their
creative team, cast and crew, and what it means to lead a project.
Aimed at those who are curious about theatre directing.

Collaboration - Developing a show through the
writer/director relationship

Join Lulu Raczka and Ali Pidsley, the
award winning writer and director of A Girl in School Uniform
(Walks in to a Bar) to explore ways of developing a show through
collaboration between writers and directors.

Acting: Self-taping Workshop
Sat 22 April, 10.30am - 1.30pm
An informative session exploring how actors can best
meet the increasing demands being made by casting directors for
professional standard self tapes. Led by actor & film maker Sam
Swainsbury, this is for actors who are working professionally in
screen or theatre.

Writing: The Dynamic Scene
Thur 27 April, 7pm - 8pm
A practical workshop for playwrights on the ingredients for
a dramatic, dynamic scene. Led by Literary Associate, Jacqui
Honess-Martin. This workshop is aimed at writers keen to improve
their craft.

Working Internationally
Wed 3 May, 6pm - 8pm
After 2017’s festival, Transform’s Creative Director, Amy
Letman, will discuss how artists can operate in an international
network, build relationships overseas, and take their work beyond the
UK.
