Pillbox Theatre presents Adam Z Robinson’s play,
Conscientious.
The only
two dates in 2016!
Conscientious is a play
about the humour, and the horror, of office politics taken to
extremes and finding inspiration from First World War Conscientious
Objectors.
Rebekah has just landed her first job. She’s everything they should
want. Young. Keen. Conscientious.
But Michelle, her office ‘buddy,’ is also the office bully and
Rebekah’s dream job is turning into a nightmare. Desperate, she
turns for help to the ideals of her hero, her great-grandfather, a
First World War conscientious objector.
When pushed right to the edge, what wins out? Ideals? Or survival?
Adam Z
Robinson’s play, which toured nationally in 2014, finds
the humour, and the horror, of office politics taken to extremes.
