Thanks to my fellow writer and poet Mark Connors, I can share details of an upcoming Poetry Festival in Yorkshire. Poetry at the Parsonage
Festival will take place in Haworth on Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd
July 2016 and below is the information that Mark has shared with me:
This will be a great weekend,
probably the biggest line-up of poets to have ever graced Yorkshire. Please
tell all your friends and family about it and help make the festival a raging
success so we get to do it all again next year! It is free but they are asking
for £3 donation from all attending to help cover costs. Buckets will be
available to pop your coins/notes in on the day!
Please see below for details of
the workshops Joanna Sedgwick has arranged.
There are some creative writing
workshops run by Char March, James Nash and Charlotte Wetton, taking place at
the Poetry at the Parsonage weekend festival on 2nd and 3rd July. Tickets are
only £12 each for a 2 hour workshop, and can be purchased from the Bronte
Society website: https://www.bronte.org.uk/whats-on
