Upcoming events at Wakefield Theatre

I thought my followers would be interested in the following information, upcoming events at Wakefield Theatre, auditions, mystery makers and a job opportunity for a Creative Executive:

Feeling a little melancholy after saying goodbye to panto? Fear not for we have an international smash hit comedy coming back to Theatre Royal Wakefield this January! After the response from its debut tour last Spring, Bouncers returns with a new actor and a revamped script, set to storm the UK on its Spring 2015 tour.

Lucky Erid, Judd, Les and Ralph are the original men in black as they tell the tale of one night in a Yorkshire disco in the 80s. Relive the Friday night experience in a hysterical yet poignant tale of a night on the town all under the watchful eyes of the bouncers. #theyonlycomeoutatnight

Theatre Royal Wakefield is recruiting
We can't quite believe that our very own Executive Director, Murray Edwards, is leaving us in September to revel in his retirement years. The news leaves us with a role to fill so we are now on the look out for a new Chief Executive to follow in his creative footsteps.
We're also thrilled to be recruiting into a new role thanks to the continued success of our youth Performance Academy. We need an energetic, creative tutor to lead our Saturday drama sessions with 5-7 year olds and acting classes for 7-9s.
Click here for more information and to apply.

Wakefield Mystery Makers needed!
We're on the search for Mystery Makers to bring our Wakefield Mysteries to life! This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone aged 13-30 with a passion for marketing and social media. Offering a rare chance to work with our marketing team, Mystery Makers are tasked with capturing the content of the sessions and promoting the project, employing a range of marketing techniques including video interviews, blogging and other social media.

The panto season's behind us......
Wow, what an end to 2014! Beauty and the Beast was a storming success, smashing our box office record to date. We were graced with a wonderful audience each and every show and the cast absolutely loved performing for you all.
We couldn't put it any better than in this tweet from Chris Hannon, our very own Dame Dominique:
"Wakey: Thanks so much for all your nice panto mesgs! We've had fantastic crowds this year. It's a pleasure to be silly for you @trwakefield"
Au revoir for now peeps.

...but oh no it's not, as early birds are up for grabs!
If you can't wait for panto season to come around again, don't despair. We're already planning for this Christmas...and have early bird tickets up for grabs! Don't miss our fun filled, hilarious recount of a classic tale as Dick Whittington comes to town! Book early to avoid disappointment!
