The Weather Machine

The Weather Machine combines video, sound, text and participation to reveal a theatrical spectacle. This work in progress is a collaboration with composer James Bulley and Bradford based writer Kamal Kaan.

Manic Chord are a Leeds based company who create physical and lyrical performance. At Furnace they will present a sharing of The News, their brand new production which draws attention to the complex question… what is the news? Who really makes it? And for what means?

Each summer, the Playhouse puts an open call out to local artists who are looking for rehearsal space and support to develop new projects.
