Manga Con
2014 Saturday 8 March, celebrates the literature, art and
Japanese culture of Manga. Events and activities include: Stage events,
Cosplay contest, Art contest, Manga, toy & food stalls, Artists'
alley selling arts and crafts, Literature activities and How to
draw/craft workshops. Family tickets available.
Polari Up North Saturday 8 March,
'London's most theatrical salon', for the first time ever being held
north of Watford. With Paul Burston as MC, Mari Hannah, Keith Jarret,
VG Lee and Adam Lowe.
Gwyneth Hughes in Conversation Sunday
9 March, the award-winning TV screenwriter talks about her career and
recent BBC film, The Girl, which tells the story of Alfred Hitchcock's
obsession with Tippi Hedren.

In Conversation Sunday 9 March, a retrospective of the twice
Booker prize shortlisted novelist, who has announced his retirement
