German Market, Leeds

Had a lovely morning and afternoon at the German Market in Leeds today with our good friends Claire, Martijn and Harri.  The kids loved tucking into the dark chocolate strawberry and milk chocolate marshmallow kebabs, as well as the bratwurst, paprika chips and banana and nutella crepes.  I tried the dark chocolate strawberry kebabs, some amaretto hot chocolate with cream and a morello cherry and nutella crepe.  Marcus tried a foot-long spicy sausage and my son had the half-metre sausage, whilst Claire and Martijn shared some honey mead, she had a brie and cranberry pretzel and Martijn a half metre sausage.  My daughter also had some candy floss and we had a lovely time wandering around the lovely stalls selling various ornaments, chocolates, candles, toys, knitted products, jewellery and wooden products, not to mention the food, beer and gluhwein.

There is also a singing moose and a small fair in amongst the street stalls.
