FEATURED | New: £2 millon Theatre Breakthrough Fund (North) We’re excited to announce the launch of the Theatre Breakthrough Fund (North) - a new £2 million fund to support Black, Asian and ethnically diverse theatre makers in the North of England to make ambitious new work. The fund redistributes investment previously allocated to Eclipse Theatre Company as part of the National Portfolio and aims to help continue the Arts Council’s support for the types of ambitious new work and artistic opportunities for Black, Asian and ethnically diverse artists that the company was known for. |

New Diversity Development Programme open for registration We’re proud to announce a new and free way in which we’re supporting volunteers, staff and leaders at diverse-led organisations. Whether you want to gain new skills or fine-tune existing ones – our Diversity Development Programme could be a useful step on your journey to increase confidence and knowledge in areas like fundraising, finances, governance and business planning. The webinars are open to all diverse creative and cultural organisations. £250,000 for 30 projects through the NEMO pilot programme NEMO (Northern European Mobility Opportunity) is funded jointly by the arts councils of Ireland, England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Creative Scotland alongside the Nordic Culture Fund. The programme aims to strengthen cultural ties between the Nordics and Ireland and the UK, promoting exchange activities and mutual collaboration between the two regions. This first edition of NEMO has focused on mobility opportunities for emerging artists, recognising that this group is in particular need of financial support to further develop their artistic practices. Sign up now: National Lottery Open Week Calling all National Lottery funded organisations! You can say thank you to National Lottery players who raise £32 million each week for good causes by taking part in Open Week 2026. Last year 97% of participating venues said they would take part again, with Leeds Castle saying that the offer brought in a new audience. From 7 – 15 March, you can join organisations across the country in providing special offers to any visitors with a lottery ticket or scratchcard. Find out more and register your offer now. |
