A Complete Unkown @ Seven


In 1961, an unknown 19-year-old Bob Dylan arrived in New York City with his guitar and forged relationships with musical icons on his meteoric rise. Screen Seven – A Complete Unknown follows these events in his early career, tonight, Thursday 4th December, 7.30pm. Seven Venue. £8.

Meanwhile in Seven Bar, 6-8pm, Jonny Flocktonfar from unknown at Seven Arts for his work with Leeds based legend Mik Artistik, and acoustic roots band Colour Of Light has carved a path on the guitar as an individual voice. Tonight playing a range of guitar music. Pay What You Feel.

Tomorrow, Friday 5th December, 6-8pm, Simon & Tim , keyboard and guitar vocal harmony duo, continue to curate and perform arrangements of timeless classic songs from the 70s to the present day. Expect an eclectic mix from Nick Drake to ABBA via Steely Dan and Taylor Swift to name but a few. Seven Bar. Pay What You Feel. 

Festive carols performed by Chapel A Community Christmas Choir on Saturday 6th December 1pm. This year 'choircoke' a chance to perform Christmas karaoake, backed by the whole Choir. Seven Courtyard or Seven Bar if wet. Free.

On Saturday 6th December, 4-6pm, now in the season of Winter Warmers, look forward to The Hayes Sisters, a Stockport based folk duo, sisters Cathryn (“Cath”) and Angela (“Ange”) blending tight, Everly like harmonies with an eclectic mix of folk, country, Celtic, and even flamenco-inflected storytelling. Seven Bar. Pay What You Feel.

Just a few tickets remaining for JazzLeeds – The Honeybirds at Christmas on Sunday 7th December 1.30-4pm. The Honeybirds share a love of intricate close harmony, jazz swing music as well as tea and cake! Precision harmonies with a a festive, 1940s sound that never goes out of fashion. Seven Venue. £12 / £10 advance. £12 on the door if available. Doors 1pm.

Rounding off the weekend on Sunday 7th December 7.30pm, the Seven Quiz. Test your knowledge in a relaxed atmosphere – a great way to end the weekend with friends. Seven Bar. £5 per team. With prizes.

Journalist and writer Tony Earnshaw joins us for a post-screening discussion. Tony is the author of Fifty Men in the Valley of the Shadow – The Making of The Wild Geese, a 316-page book chronicling the production of the rip-roaring action classic.
