December is almost here in the Bradford district and with it comes plenty of fun, festive events with loads to do for the whole family. The Colour Of Dreams Poster

Take a break from the Christmas rush at Ilkley Manor House which unveils its final exhibition of the year, The Colour of Dreams, which runs from 29th November-14th December. Bringing together painters, a ceramicist and a textile artist to create works which examine the effects of light and colour and how they impact the way we feel. Discover the wonderful works as you explore the manor house from this weekend.

Saltaire's Festive Trail

Residents, community groups and businesses in Saltaire are hard at work preparing festive windows ready to light up throughout December in the much-loved Saltaire Living Advent Calendar which will light up the village from Monday, 1st December. This annual event sees homes and businesses create fabulous illuminated displays in windows across Saltaire which light up gradually throughout the month.  Download the trail map today and see how many of the beautiful window displays you can find when you visit the UNESCO World Heritage site this December.

Bradford 2025: Brighter Still - Final ticket release on 1 Dec 2025.

The finale! Join us for our big closing event - and look ahead to a brilliant Bradford future together.

Brighter Still is the uplifting closing event for Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture. Starring hundreds of people from across our district, it’s a celebration of who we are, where we live and the ties that bind us together – and everyone’s invited.

Join us in Myrtle Park on the two longest nights of the year for an epic gathering. As dusk descends and the chill of night falls, you’ll feel magic in the air – and the warmth of thousands of Bradfordians, all here to celebrate together.

A huge community cast of all ages will join forces with dancers, poets and choirs to bring down the curtain on our year as UK City of Culture with a joyous, moving and spectacular open-air production. Created by Emily Lim and Dan Canham, Brighter Still will spark stories, fire imaginations and fuel lasting memories – bringing Bradford 2025 to an unmissable, unforgettable conclusion.

EGGS COLLECTIVE’S DARK NIGHTS

Come in and join the weird and wonderful, the local and out of town, all coming to Bradford as Midsummer strikes. Celebrate the days getting shorter, the nights getting wilder and the humour getting darker. Don’t worry, Eggs Collective will hold your hand.

Solstice: Under the cloak of darkness, Eggs Collective invite you and their nocturnal showbiz pals to light up the dark for one final cabaret at Loading Bay.

A new community film project celebrating your favourite films and cinematic memories is coming to a venue near you! Facilitated by award winning artist and filmmaker Hafsah Naib each workshop is packed with creative activities, film related food and hands on experience making films from poster design to acting on location! But we can’t do it without you! Join your community of like minded aficionados and let’s ‘eat sumat do sumat and film sumat!!!
