We've always got half an eye on those prestigious Academy Awards and between Best Picture frontrunner Train Dreams and two career-best performances from Benedict Cumberbatch and Ethan Hawke we're calling it, award season is well and truly underway!

Look further into December and you'll find some of the usual festive favourites at Pictureville and Cubby Broccoli, while Mick Jagger, Stanley Kubrick and the Na'vi lead our upcoming IMAX releases.

💕Queer East

Enjoy a remarkable trio of films this week screening as part of Queer East On the Road 2025, a nationwide touring season taking place from October to December in 15 cities across the UK. Queer East is a cross-disciplinary festival that showcases boundary-pushing LGBTQ+ cinema, live arts, and moving image work from East and Southeast Asia and its diaspora communities.
