Summer Write Start FREE event

Karen's blog does not endorse this course:

Set yourself up for literary success in 2025. Join us for the Summer Write Start (free) event, and go from aspiring writer to productive author in 30 days.

=> Click here to grab your spot. (One click and you're registered for all four live calls, with a Q&A and real-time editing, from the former Exec Editor of St Martin's Press.)

You know that list you made back in January? The one with all your big writing goals for 2025?

The one that's probably buried under bills or lost in your phone between "grocery list" and that brilliant 3am book idea.

Yeah, I see you. I've been you. You were going to write every day, finish that manuscript, finally query agents.

Then February happened. And March. And life did what life does - it got messy, complicated, and suddenly it's June and you're wondering where half a year went.

It can be hellah deflating.

You don't have to wait until January 2026 to get back on track. There are still six months left to make this year matter.

That's exactly why I’m hosting a free, mid-year Write Start reset.

Starting June 24th, you're spending four consecutive Tuesdays with me and a publishing icon to get back on writing track before 2025 slips away completely.

The icon: Brenda Copeland. She spent over 20 years as Executive Editor at St. Martin's Press, where she shepherded books from writers like Dean Koontz, Cher, and Deepak Chopra from manuscript to bestseller.

She's the editor who made the "buy this book or pass" decisions on some of the biggest books on the bestseller list. So, she knows exactly what separates publishable writing from the slush pile. And just as important, she knows how to get writers unstuck when they're spinning their wheels.

Click here to register and meet us for the next four Tuesdays, 5pm Eastern (New York time). We kick things off on June 24th.

Four sessions. Completely free.

During these four live sessions, you're getting:

✓ A realistic assessment of where you are versus where you wanted to be
✓ Strategic goal adjustments that actually work with your real life
✓ The exact methods Brenda used with bestselling authors to maintain momentum when everything goes sideways
✓ Live Q&A to tackle whatever's been derailing your progress
✓ Real-time page reviews so you can see how professional editing transforms good writing into can't-put-it-down writing

This is about meeting yourself where you are today and creating a realistic plan to finish 2025 strong.

Remember: the writers who succeed aren't the ones who never stumble. They're the ones who get back up, dust themselves off, and keep moving forward.

Ready to make the second half of 2025 count? Get registered right now. (One click signs you up for all four sessions.)

Your future published self will thank you.

Cheers and book deals,
Kathy

P.S. Don't wait until January 2026 to get serious about your writing goals. The year isn't over yet, and neither are your chances of making real progress.

Click here to secure your spot—one click signs you up for all four sessions.

Then we’ll see you the next four Tuesdays at 5pm New York time.
