Hello
If you are anything like us, when it comes to choosing a writing
course you like to read reviews or better yet get a
personalised recommendation.
So, if it helps, 100%
of respondents said they would recommend Women’s Writing Weeks
to a friend.
Welcome to the latest offering from Women’s Writing Weeks – Memoir School – March 2025 ⏳
Mslexia Memoir School is for writers embarking on a memoir, or
rethinking a memoir-in-progress. Join a group of engaged female
writers for five days of workshops, feedback, and support from the
comfort of your own home.
How would
it feel to devote a whole week to making progress on your memoir?
The four core tutors are:
- Claire Hynes on
setting and context
- Hannah Lowe on
theme and mission
- Jane Rogers on
structure and chronology
- Margaret Wilkinson
on dramatising your story
Because this is Mslexia, we know how important it is
to nurture the whole writer.
So we’re also including motivation and goal-setting workshops led
by writing coach Bec Evans, drop-in surgeries with counsellor Sue
Spencer, and informal socials led by Rosie Garland – novelist, poet
and performer extraordinaire – who will help you get to know your
fellow writers.
And if that wasn't enough, to finish the week in style, we've
invited Literary Agent Juliet Pickering to offer advice on your
next steps.
We know this week could change your writing, and
your life. Here’s what past participants said:
'It’s been life-changing and
affirming'
'The
access to a counsellor was invaluable. Hilary helped me untangle
some painful writing issues'
'The
tutors! OMG, the tutors! All of them first class, their experience
shone through, both as experienced writers and as teachers. I am
sure we did a mini MA this week.'
Whether you’re in the midst of a memoir or feeling
newly inspired, we would love you to join us for this exclusive
five-day masterclass.
You won't
find an offer like this anywhere else ✨.
Because our tuition groups are small, places are
limited – so book now to make 2025 the year for your
memoir.
