Dear Reader,

With belts loosened a notch or two, the sloe gin level going down nicely and enough bracing winter walks to see you through till next year, it's now time to read all those things you tagged, saved, bookmarked but didn't have time to digest before. Pull up a chair by the fireplace, and catch up on the long-form – listicles be gone. We've chosen ten of our favourite features for you from the past year. Whether you're intrigued by Fiona Golfar's Ozempic journey; want to know what it's like to run Mustique, the world's most exclusive island; or to hear about Jane Goodall's most extraordinary life in her 90th year, this is the end-of-year newsletter for you.

I look forward to dropping into your Sunday morning inbox with fresh thoughts, inspirations and ideas in 2025. Have a wonderful New Year.

C&TH’s Top 10 Reads Of 2024

Can coffee be saved from climate change? Maybe, says Tessa Dunthorne – with a combination of synthetics, new beans and better farming.

Ahead of The Traitors returning to our screens in just a few days, we did a deep dive into host Claudia Winkleman’s fabulous wardrobe with her stylist Sinead McKeefry.

Allow Tim Spector – the buzziest doctor of the moment – to inspire your 2025 resolutions with his six science-backed golden rules for health.

How are the super-rich travelling nowadays? Francisca Kellett explores the changing world of Ultra High Net Worth travel – finding ostentatious hotels are out, mind-blowing experiences are in.

In 1960, Jane Goodall left England to research chimpanzees in Tanzania. Today, at 90, her passion for saving them – and the planet – is stronger than ever. Lisa Grainger hears her story.

Ozempic is one of the biggest breakout health trends of 2024, but it’s also one of the most controversial. Here Fiona Golfar tells her first-hand experience of being on the weight loss drug long-term.

Does Roger Pritchard, managing director of The Mustique Company, have the best job in the world? I hung out with him to find out.

Pubs may not be profit-turners, but the Great British Boozer is not over, James May tells C&TH over a pint.

What does comfort food look like for Yotam Ottolenghi? Ellie Smith talks heritage and traditions with the eponymous name behind one of the UK’s best-loved food empires.

We got a peek behind the scenes of Jeremy Clarkson’s Cotswolds farm Diddly Squat, where Lisa Hogan is building up the brand on her own terms.
