Thursday 6th March, 7.30-9.0pm, at Cleckheaton
Library. for International Women’s Day you can see writers Mandy
Sutter and Gill McEvoy. Tickets £2/ £1 for Kirklees Passports.
Mandy Sutter is an award-winning writer who lives near
Ilkley Moor with a large black dog called Fable. Her novel, Stretching It, is
"a light-hearted look at sex, papier-mâché and the problems of caring for
an impossible parent".
Gill McEvoy is a poet. As a young mother she faced the illness and early death of her husband. In 1999 she faced ovarian cancer, the disease that killed her mother, and went on to live long beyond the prognosis.

poetry night at Huddersfield Library, 6-7.55pm. Free and recommended event.

Huddersfield Town Hall as part of Huddersfield Literature Festival.

On 21st March, 2-3pm, at Huddersfield Library
tickets £1 there will be a poetry discussion workshop led by poet
Linda France at Huddersfield Library as part of Read Regional. Very limited
numbers.
