We're saying goodbye to summer and hello to an autumn of culture, art and music, with plenty to inspire and look forward to as the nights draw in.
This year instead of dreading those longer evenings, we're embracing them and celebrating the magical, moonlit atmosphere of Leeds after dark - read on for a sneak preview of this and much more.
Marking 60 years of Leeds Conservatoire, this exhibition celebrates everything that shaped the city’s musical identity across six vibrant decades. Discover the legendary gigs, local heroes, venues, records and communities that make up Leeds' unique legacy.
'Don't Let's Ask for the Moon...': Nocturnes and Atkinson Grimshaw brings together our impressive collection of nocturnal pictures by the celebrated Leeds painter, alongside evocative images of night-time themes by contemporary artists.
This new exhibition features recent works by contemporary artists that look at plants from a poetic or narrative perspective, rather than a scientific lens. They celebrate the power of the imagination, stories, folklore, and ritual, encouraging us to reconsider the position of humans in our interconnected world.
