How's your competition entry shaping up, KAREN? A week ago, we sent you a plan for the final ten days before the deadline.
Now, with just the weekend ahead, it’s decision time: will 2025 be the year you hit submit to our Fiction Competition?
If you're shouting 'Yes, enough already!' then you must have entered – congrats, and kindly carry on with your day.

Sometimes in life, you have to take a chance on yourself, even if you don't feel completely ready. That’s exactly what Emily Howes did when she entered our Novel Competition in 2021.

Judged by Bernardine Evaristo, Lucy Popescu and Olivia Maidment, this competition is open to unpublished novels of at least 50,000 words in any genre for adults and/or young adults.
