Creative Kirklees Newsletter 2 September 2015

September sees the start of the new school year, getting back to work after holidays or thinking about new projects. With this comes connecting back with friends, colleges and customers, so this is a good time to remind you about the ways you can use social media to connect with creative people, audiences and groups in Kirklees.

If you use Linked In you can join the Creative Kirklees open group to join in conversations, share ideas and network, as well as promote, celebrate and champion culture in Kirklees.
The Creative Kirklees Facebook page is for people who are passionate about the arts in Kirklees to share their news, events and activities. Just post what you’re doing on the page and use it to connect with others.
For Twitter users you can Post, Retweet, Follow or Favorite using the hashtag #creativekirklees or @creativekirklees.  Share what you’re up to, what’s interesting or thought provoking or just what made you smile.
We hope this makes you smile – we came across a great explanation of social media by Doug Ray. It's a simple but effective way to understand the different approaches to using social media.
