Creative Kirklees Newsletter 12 August 2015

In a few weeks’ time the new Kirklees Concert Season 15/16 will begin so now’s the time to browse through the brochure and book your tickets for one of the amazing musical performances that Kirklees is lucky enough to host.  The new season has a sensational range of orchestral, organ and chamber concerts at Huddersfield and Dewsbury Town Halls, with world-class musicians and internationally renowned conductors and soloists.

This is the 13th year of partnership between Opera North and Kirklees Council and sees another fantastic season featuring the Orchestra of Opera North, Borough Organist Gordon Stewart and visiting orchestras Royal Northern Sinfonia and the BBC Phiharmonic.  With discounts for under 26s, £1 tickets for children under the age of 13, a range of concessions and family concert, there is something for everyone.
If you’ve never been before, then now is the time to step outside your comfort zone and give it a try.  If you’re a regular, then you won’t need convincing about the pleasures involved in the outstanding classical music on offer.
