SCBWI Margaret Carey Conference Scholarship

If you are a member of the SCBWI and feel you would like to apply for a scholarship in order to attend this year's conference, the Margaret Carey Conference Scholarship is now open for submission:


This year's Margaret Carey Conference Scholarship is now open for submissions until August 15th

The scholarship honours and celebrates the memory and work of Margaret Carey, a writer, illustrator and SCBWI British Isles volunteer. The scholarship (for up to two members) offers a free place to this year's conference, an option for a 1-2-1 review and a place at the Friday Night Crit. We will also be making a modest contribution towards accommodation and travel. This scholarship is worth up to 450 GBP.

It is open to members who show great promise in their work, but are financially unable to come to the conference. It is open to all members (published, unpublished, writer and illustrators). The judging panel will be anonymous and all applications handled in confidence.
