Totally Improvised @ Seven

Wednesday 1st April, 6-7.15pm, a fresh face at Seven, Rush Hour Jazz – Georgina Barr with her effortless style and connection to the music that shows through in all settings. Seven Bar. Pay What You Feel. Organised by JazzLeeds.

Also, Wednesday 1st April, 7.30pm,  Murder Inc. – Cirque Du Slay.  Have you ever dreamed of chucking it all in and running away to the Circus? We're not kidding - this is no April Fool. Step right up and get your tickets for our completely improvised comedy murder mystery show as Murder Inc presents: Cirque Du Slay!  Seven Venue. £10.

Two musical treats on Thursday 2nd April. Firstly, 6-8pm, Dear Everyone, an acoustic indie folk trio comprising DIY scene veterans El Morgan, Helen Chambers, and Kelly Kemp, bringing a rich musical history to their intimate performances. Seven Bar. Pay What You Feel.

Also on Thursday 2nd April, 7.30pm, featuring twenty+ of Leeds’ most enthusiastic musicians and the inspirational leadership and multi-instrumental talents of Richard Ormrod, Instant World Orchestra. Seven Venue.  £12 /£10 (concessions in advance). £12 on the door. Doors 7pm.

On Saturday 4th April, 4-6pm, Summer Sessions - Trash Panda. Long time friends, Tess Leslie and Phil Snell, teamed up in 2023, their music an amalgam of different styles from American Old Time and bluegrass to European Folk. The result is a dynamic and fun performance. Seven Bar. Pay What You Feel. Organised by Mewl Music.

The Totally Improvised Musical returns also on Saturday 4th April at 7.30pm. Every night is opening night as these top improvisers compose brand-new comedy musicals from your title suggestions. That’s right; the story, songs, characters and “choreography” are all made up on the spot with live music and lots of laughter. Seven Venue. £12 / £10 conc.

See the jazz stars of tomorrow on Sunday 5th April, 1.30-4pm, at JazzLeeds – Conservatoire Collection 2026, this year featuring the Jack Preston Quartet, the Matthew Rowell Trio and the Andrew Corry Quartet. Seven Venue.  £12 /£10 conc in advance /£12 on the door. Doors 1pm.

And don't forget, at 7.30pm, also on Sunday 5th April, the Seven Quiz. This and every Sunday, test your knowledge in a relaxed atmosphere – a great way to unwind with friends and family. Seven Bar. £5 per team. With prizes.
