The Jerwood Fellowships at New Writing North are open for entries!
Awardees will receive £10,000 cash, mentoring, and a year-long package of support
The Jerwood Fellowships will be awarded to three early career published writers of fiction, narrative non-fiction or poetry, currently living anywhere in the North of England.
With a focus on artistic excellence, the fellowships support writers at a pivotal point in their careers, as they develop new work towards publication.
We understand that the definition of an emerging early career writer can vary between genres and art forms but, as a guide, this may approximate to having published between one and three full-length works.
