Things to do this weekend in Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, London, Scotland, Ireland and more

Got plans for this lovely sunny weekend? Here are a few ideas of things to do:

A Big Announcement!

Sudha Bhuchar as Artist-in-Residence

Theatre in the Mill, commissioned by Bradford 2025, is thrilled to announce Sudha Bhuchar as Artist-in-Residence.

Sudha Bhuchar is a quiet revolutionary. For over forty years, she has been at the heart of South Asian theatre in Britain—building, performing, and writing stories that speak truth to power. Sudha’s work is political through the personal and paints a broad canvas while focussing on the ‘extraordinary in the ordinary’. It’s this lifelong commitment, alongside her remarkable archive and multilingual creative practice, that makes us proud to welcome Sudha as our Artist in Residence at Theatre in the Mill from June till December 2025; co-commissioned by Bradford 2025.

As part of her residency, Sudha will be performing her Award-Winning one-woman show, "Evening Conversations" at The Loading Bay, The Beacon and Theatre in the Mill.

Tickets for the summer performances are now available:
July 25 at Loading Bay: https://bradford2025.co.uk/event/evening-conversations-loading-bay/

July 28 at The Beacon: https://bradford2025.co.uk/event/evening-conversations-the-beacon/
