With details of the competition:
Help us DRAW this incredible year to a close! |
We’ve invited you to get creative this year with DRAW!, our nationwide drawing initiative supported by David Hockney.
Each month, a new artist has shared a new theme to inspire us all, with artists including Rose Blake, Harry Hill, Faiza Butt and David Hockney himself encouraging us to pick up a pencil, a pen or even a tablet. And there’s still time to get involved! |
As we approach the 12th and final month of DRAW!, we’re celebrating an incredible year of creativity and asking you to send us your drawings. Explore our artists' themes below, including November’s call-out from Johnny Vegas and the first look at our December invitation from Phoebe Boswell, and get drawing. |
Get creative with Bradford 2025 |
In January, we kicked off DRAW! with David Hockney, who invited everyone to “draw something you find beautiful”. Take a look back at our monthly themes below and see some of the amazing artworks you’ve created so far this year. |
Show us your art! You could choose this month’s theme from Johnny Vegas and “draw something that makes you happy”, try drawing “a view from a window”, or have a go at drawing “a typical Sunday morning”. |

Check out some of the DRAW! artworks you’ve sent to us so far this year. See how others have brought their creations to life through digital art, pencil, charcoal and more. Spark your own creativity. |

DRAW a memory this December |
Phoebe Boswell is our final artist of the year – and for December, she’s inviting us to “draw a memory”.
What moment would you choose? Look back and use drawing to celebrate your joyful moments and the ones that shaped you.
"Set yourself some time to let your pencil go for a journey, and the marks on the page become the memory-making" - Phoebe Boswell |
