and bringing their stories to life before their eyes. Engaging,

The Screen Seven movie on Monday
5 November, 8pm, is Journeys End.
March, 1918. C-company arrives to take its turn in the front-line
trenches of norther France, led by the war-weary Captain Stanhope. With
a German offensive approaching, each man is trapped, the days ticking
by, the tension rising and the attack drawing ever closer. £6 on the door.
On Tuesday 6 November
7.30pm, Café Economique –
‘Precarious Work’ In this talk by Dr Gabriella Alberti, she
will reflect on the origins and changing meanings of insecure
employment in contemporary Britain, focusing on the intersections of
different forms of precariousness for workers through the lens of
labour market, welfare and migration/mobility. £4 on the door.
In a complete change of tone on Wednesday
7 November, 8pm, Murder Inc. is
back. The show is a wholly improvised crime story. The cast takes
suggestions and weave a sordid tale that is pacey and packed with belly
laughs. It’s your job to make your best guess of ‘whodunnit’ before the
show is over and one winning detective team will take home a prize. £8 adv / £10 otd.

November 6-7pm in Seven Bar, a special Rush Hour Jazz –
we have two this month – tonight with Jennie Hammond,

Thirkell Blown It! is a unique show of hilarious
story-telling, and a chance to shine the light on the magic of

November, 8pm, Seven presents Hafdis Huld
Iceland’s premier acoustic pop/folk singer regularly performs around

returns with a hotly anticipated new version of Italian horror
classic Suspiria. This bold and sensual take on Dario Argento's

horror marathon.
Susie Bannion
(Dakota Johnson) is a brilliantly talented dancer from Ohio who
joins a famous Berlin dance school led by her idol Madame Blanc
(Tilda Swinton). Replacing another dancer who went missing, Susie
starts to suspect that there are nefarious forces at work at the
school and her sanity, and life, may be at risk.
LIFF is giving

Short Story Selection
As
the son of the High Duke of an interstellar empire, Dennison Crestmar is
under a microscope, expected to be great.
However,
Dennison's track record proves he is merely not gifted in the ways of war and
combat.
His crew does not
expect him to win any battles, nor are they eager to follow him. Aware
of this, he still attempts his best to prove them wrong.
Perhaps stepping
out of his father’s shadow and addressing the rebels in front of him is
precisely what he needs.

Artsy Architecture
Long
Island City is home to Socrates Sculpture Park, an outdoor space that
frequently houses many different artists hands-on type works.
This unorthodox
sort of “exhibition” focuses on artist HANNAH. Titled RRRolling Stones, the
artwork consists of seats that have all been 3-D printed out of
concrete.
The seats are
different shapes and colors, and can all be rolled around to where you want
to sit and how you decide to sit on them (they’re not all so
straightforward).
The inside of each
chair is still coarse, reminding those who are using it of its origin in
rock. The seats are an insightful comment on practical design and
architecture in the urban environment.

What's love got to do with it? Absolutely everything. When it
comes to pizza, New Yorkers play no games. Paying homage to one of
NYC’s most enthused food of them all, Nameless Network blesses
Williamsburg's William Vale Hotel with The
Museum of Pizza.
Check out Shawna X's reimagined pizza in the life-sized beauty
room taking common camera cues to a whole new meaning with "Say
Cheese". Take a long walk on Adam Green's "Pizza Beach"
before posing with a pizza-shaped crab and catching a wave with the
pizza-eating surfer dude. Challenge your photog skills as you
experience Signe Pierce and Emma Stern’s psychedelic “Pizza Vortex.” Whether
posing with famous sculptures or pop culture icons, these are just a
few of the dozen dope exhibits on display.
Maybe there is no single definitive answer as to what exactly
makes New York pizza so special (Or is there?) But one thing is for
sure, this latest “museum” is not one to be missed! Open on weekends,
through November 18th, this exhibit brings more joy than grabbing the
