Half term: vlogging workshop for 15-19 year olds This half term, Writing West Midlands and Beatfreeks are working together to train young writers to make online video content using their own stories, poems and spoken word. The sessions are for writers aged 15-19, who can get into Birmingham on 1st and 2nd November. You do not need to live in the West Midlands to attend. Over the 2-day course, you'll learn how to: ·     choose the right poem or story to put online ·     perform your poem or story (if you want to) ·     alternatively, you'll learn how to direct someone else to perform it ·     shoot the performance of your poem or story ·     edit the footage ·     put the footage online ·     market it to an online audience through Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, blogs and more The 2-day course on 1st and 2nd November costs £30 (including lunch).
